project 2 due
> have cards complete. work in class on layout .
> start with sketching. consider value shifts and rythm.
> once you start using the actual cards, consider relationships and flow between the actual letterforms
> make sure to you use a variety of letterforms in each layout: each layout must use letterforms from all of the 6 categories.
Wednesday 9/13
> class crit on 6 layouts [these are likely photo copies]
> review of vocabulary/reading [bring textbooks, etc.]

Friday 9/15
> start project 3
Monday 9/18
project 1 due
[note: crystal clear will come in handy again here: you can spray your final photocopy and it will pop and smooth out the black.]

** starting monday 9/11, we have a short student typographer presentation everyday.
