Common issues fom crit today for many of you:
> color
> nother another level of 'information' [and how do deal with it in the layout]
> general layout / division of space / get things away from the edges! [for the most part]
> scale, including type sizes
> image: cropping, density, color use, quality.
etc, etc.
and some of you need to make up for slackness tuesday!

work in class on initial sketches

desk crits/work in class have hard copy if you want feedback on posters
[focus on overall design and placement of imagery, major pts. and headings]

4.10 Tues
> final crit project 4 poster
TURN IN: reduced -size version of poster [8.5. x 11] and print a tile of any small copy at 100%

4.12 Thurs
work in class project 5
paper presentation
have print-outs if you want feedback.

4.17 Tues
group progress crit project 5

4.19 Thurs
TURN IN: a trimmed, folded dummy to me [can be b/w laser]
focus on secondary type and body copy, details, flow, logical breaks of info, subheads, etc.

4.24 Tues
project 3 / final stationery due
work in class
have print-outs if you want feedback.
