How do you put printed text on odd surfaces like thick cardboard or other
papers/objects that won't run through a laser printer?

Don't forget: you'll have to print your text BACKWARDS before you transfer it. just pull one of the text box side handles all the way to the left and it will 'flip' the contents.
Crystal Clear can be used to transfer larger areas. Note that xylene is the actual chemical in the marker that makes this work. In my experience, any type of clear, blender marker will work regardless of the brand.

also you can print onto laser-compatible clear sticky sheets [used for
customized labels]. Kinkos typically keeps these on hand.
