Process Notebook

Research the various meanings associated with the word you picked. Consider not just the literal or immediate meaning, but its (possibly many) cultural and social connotations. Create a process notebook that documents your findings. Later you'll have a design problem that explores and perhaps comments on the meanings and social / cultural context of your word. You will receive 2 project grades for this project: one for the final design and one for your process notebook.

To start, brainstorm about your word, but don’t limit your idea-generation. Use many sources such as your thesaurus. Don’t think about design yet, merely gather information and images. Make a collection / notebook based on your word.
