• get your textbook and read pages 1–15, 19, and 31–40
• find and bring in (5) bad yellow page ads that need your design help.
• bring materials for sketching and brainstorming including sheets/pad 11 x 17 or larger [newsprint is fine.]

for Tuesday 1/16:
• ad thumbnails/ideas due [min. 10 of each of the 3 variations]

for Thursday 1/18:
due:
• roughs [tighter and still in sketch form]
• one ex. of a cleaned-up, straight-forward solution that is merely 'well-organized.'
use type-only. complete in InDesign.

for Tuesday 1/23:
group crit of tighter comps due [can be on computer]
• MINIMUM of 3 variations of each of the 3 designs

for Thursday 1/25:

• show me progress on process notebook
• progress on ads tight comps/work in class

final crit on project one
